Todays hairdo was the one of the character Ygritte from Game of Thrones. It's one of my favourite hairdos, and really not complicated at all!
You can see it on Ygritte almost everytime in a few different variations.
Since the character often wears a hood (and if not, some pelt scarfs are covering half her head) and is nearly never seen in one of those backside-shots that are awesome if you want to copy the hairstyle we can sometimes see from Cersei or Sansa (Cersei hair for the win!) and in addition, her hair is a really shaggy mess and it's in no way easy to see if this strand is a twist/loose rope braid or just something not combed for two weeks, it is really difficult to figure out what is actually going on on Ygrittes head in most episodes. But some ladies have done better than me and so, there are some great Youtube tutorials to be found!
The "main Ygritte hairstyle", meaning the variations of this style she seems to wear in most episodes (as said, it's really hard to see the details) is eyplained in a great tutorial by ladollyvita333:

And some other variations she is wearing sometimes are showed in this tutorial by silvousplaits:

Here, finally, the hairdo we see on her most of the time on my head:
First one: without flashlight and about correct colours, second one: kill every natural look with the flashlight! *lol*
You see: french braid beginning at the fron of your hair line, braided french until about the crown of your head and then finished english, and two little rope braids joined under the french braid at the sides (I used a bobby pin to fix the french braid above the hair tie of the rope braids).
This hairdo takes me about 5-8 minutes (even tough I have longer hair than the actress and more lenght to braid, it's not too long to do this) and is really comfortable. It gives pretty much volume in the front and doesn't look overdressed in everyday live, specially if you make it a bit messy like the actress is wearing it- what I did not, because messy hair just looks horrid on me *lol*.
That was todays post from me- comment if you want to see more GoT hairstyles and maybe some video tutorials for some styles? I hd something in mind for a few Melisandre and Cersei hairdos, as well as some of less important characters....
